If your job is hard and too stressful, that’s your choice
But if your manager is a nice guy you have to rejoice
Some people are very unfortunate in both ways
And their only comforting moments are pay days
If you were loved for the sake of your money and gift-giving
You sure will need to have more money to continue giving
Else someone richer and more generous than you will snatch her
And she’ll be gone in spite of all the gifts you lavished on her
If you were married precisely because of your good looks
You sure will need to become an expert at good cooks,
Remain pretty forever and learn all it takes to keep a man forever
Else sooner than later, someone prettier than you will take him over
People may have different perceptions about you
That may not truly match up to the truth about you
Having an opinion about someone is one thing
And actually knowing the person is another thing
