By J E SOLOMON
Woman, oh woman!
Created out of the original man – Adam
As the story is told in Scripture
That with a single rib from Adam
God created and fashioned thee
With the utmost care and purpose
Effeminate and as desirable as can be
To be the better half of man
His companion and comforter
But thou, oh woman!
Thou art more than a single rib
Thou art more than just bone
Pretty much more than the Adam
Thou art a mystery of a kind
In whose womb the Savior was conceived
Not by man of flesh, but by the Holy Spirit
And brought forth as Light unto the world
Breastfed with Nature’s unprocessed milk –
Itself, another of the wonders of thy body
Milk that the baby Savior did suck with glee
From the pair of thy wonderful nipples –
Designed especially for infant feeding
But also a rich supply of special nerves
That make thy breast a store house of pleasure
Woman, oh woman!
Thou art a co-creator –
A co-creator of more Adams and Eves
In whose wondrous womb
Can be conceived and carried
For nine full months, or less
A whole new Adam or Eve
With ribs all full and complete
Thou art more than the original rib
Pretty much more than just bone
Oh woman, thou art a mystery of a kind!
