BY J E SOLOMON
Life was meant to be good, not to be fair
We need to learn to share and care
And be willing to help the less fortunate
No one can change the way life is, anyway
Your roommate might be driving the nicest car
And you probably drive a rickety old car
It matters not to the roads or the traffic lights
A red light will mean stop for both cars, anyway
A salesman could be Apostolic
And the buyer could be Catholic
God would not discriminate
He listens to every prayer, anyway
You could be the gatekeeper
Or perhaps the housekeeper
In a King’s magnificent palace
You’re living in a mansion, anyway
I could be the funny guy
Or perhaps the wrong guy
In the House of the Lord
I’ll still be in His Kingdom, anyway
