Long, long time ago, I used to turn towards a certain direction, enhance the atmosphere with the fragrance of burning incense, and then lift up my eyes unto the hills to pray to God until I realized, by His own grace, that I didn’t have to do all that.
God is present everywhere – yes, God is Omnipresent. God is in the bowels of the Earth where miners and other underground workers make their living; God is in the depths of the Ocean providing sustenance to all marine creatures and plants, and in the Sky above. “God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24).
