I thank God for the strength of mind
That inspires me to be nice and kind
To all I meet, regardless of skin color,
Ethnicity, faith and sexual preference
I’m happy and full of gratitude
To God for my unwavering attitude
Of free thinking and open heart
And a mind that knows no fear
Look out for my next of kin
Or any of my kith and kin
And if they’re unworthy of trust
Find me a pet to trust and love
