I cherish that day, a day in February
Over seven hundred months ago
When my mom, … she passed 30 years ago
Labored in a clinic, her spirit weary
But managed to usher me into this world
I cherish the day I was born
It makes me an Aquarian
And also I’m a vegetarian
I’ve a strong affinity for corn
The mother of all cereals in the world
I cherish this day, my date of birth
It comes but once in a year
To add to my age another year
Closing the gap between life and death
As I make my journey through this world
