In an English class for foreign students, the teacher wrote a sentence on the
board. “Can anyone read this sentence and explain the different parts
of speech?” she asked the class.
The sentence was: “Since the collapse of the economy, it’s been hard to find a
job.”
A student in the back row stood up and threw a question back to the teacher:
“Please, what has the economy to do with the resurrection of Job?”
Apparently, the student was thinking of Job in the Bible.

A drunk was hauled into court.”Mister,” the judge began, “you’ve been brought
here for drinking….”
“Great,” the drunk exclaimed. “When do we get started?”
